for an evening out in a marvelous, nouvelle-concept super supermarket. If you don’t know about it, you should; if you do, you do not have to be encouraged to attend a wine-tasting and supper at:

We will meet at
· 6:00pm for a wine tasting in the cellar (no charge) CELLAR LEVEL
· 7:00pm move upstairs to the extensive prepared food section, where you can select your own meal—hot or cold, vegetarian or meat, fish or fowl, pastas or pates, sushi or wok, kosher or cuisine American, all amidst a variety of breads, cheeses, deli sandwiches, salads, fruits and desserts, myriads of coffee blends—and you can dine a la carte or pick up a full meal. · After paying—Dutch treat—at the check-out stand, the group will move upstairs, (stairs or elevator) to a sectioned-off, paneled dining room to dine with ISP friends. THIRD FLOOR
Co-hosts for the evening are Jocelyn Hamilton (Fairfax), Don Roellke (Fairfax), Sheila Macdonald (DC); they will meet you in the cellar and guide you through the evening.

Report on September 16 hike/picnic. More than 36 ISP members gathered at a northwest Washington, DC home, walked Rock Creek Park trails for an hour and returned for a cookout picnic and much conviviality under a beautiful sky.

Ivy Singles Plus (formerly Ivy Over 50 Singles,), is a voluntary organization of mature single men and women who are graduates of Ivy League and other premier colleges and universities. The club organizes events in the Washington, D.C. area so that members can meet together throughout the year. Activities include receptions, picnics, hikes, lectures, art exhibitions, concerts, bridge and other special events. The group invites to membership over 50 singles who are graduates of these schools and who have an interest in participating in a variety of stimulating intellectual, social, cultural, and athletic outings. Members are expected to attend these events as singles.
